Billy de Beer has been riding motorcycles for more than 40 years. He served the Rustenburg Traffic Department for 13 years as a traffic officer and Assistant Superintendent. Here he was responsible for facilitating lectures to Traffic Officers and High school students regarding motorcycle safety and riding skills. He passion before starting the academy was to teach his friends, their friends and family the skill of enjoying their motorcycles to the full, by arranging weekends away to Mpumalanga Sabie, Hazyveiw and Pelgrims rest, also known as Bikers Paradise . He joined the Christian Motorcycle Association in 1983 and are to date still a member of them. When we moved to Cape Town he joined the Motorcycle Association of Western Cape and has been serving on the exec since 1996.
